ABInBev-SABMiller Merger Approval Possible Soon - Here's What that Could Mean for Independent Brewers

Bob Pease, the president and chief executive of the Brewers Association, offers two suggestions to help protect independent breweries: prohibiting the new AB-InBEV/SABMiller monolith from interfering with independent distributors and requiring AB-InBev to reduce its share in its distribution network.

It's possible that antitrust authorities will approve the $107 billion merger between Anheuser Busch INBEV and SABMiller by the end of the month.
