Itinerant Brewers
Brewers who do not own a brick and mortar brewery but rather brew beer at various breweries. Itinerant or transient brewers typically release their beers under their own label but may have several projects going at the same time at different breweries.
Itinerant brewing is a form of contract brewing and benefits both the brewer and the brewery: the brewer is free to experiment with different beer recipes and the brewery receives revenue from equipment that may have gone unused.
Examples of itinerant breweries are Mikkeller, Evil Twin, Nowhere in Particular, and the now-defunct Pretty Things Beer.
